My latest adventures!

Since I have been on here last, I planted some flowers, burried a couple of Rabbits and have been helping kids with their 4H adventures!  I am a proud parent and I love my family!  My friends have been busy with their fun filled summer, Amanda is being a party planner and Carrie is having her baby sometime today hopefully!  I know that my friends in Oregon are busy too, Mary is finally graduated from Collage to be a nurse..Congrats Mary!  My stepson Sean is planning on going back in the Marines in two or three weeks, my stepdaughter is busy with her life in Oregon and my other stepson is planning on going in the Navy and is engaged!  Wow so much going on and so little space for everything!

Today's Sad Tail

Sad to say that today our dog Jack passed away today.  He was hit by a motor vehicle earlier today and someone called the Gem Vet Clinic and they proceeded to call us and let us know.  We found him along the side of the road barely warm, I just pray that it was an instant death and that he felt no pain.  He was a comical little fellow and was loved by my family.

New Farm Animals!!!

This morning we aquired three new Ducks!  The breed is an Indian Runner but not sure if they are the breed Indian type or a different type.  They are light brown and white in color and their bills are Orange. Any ideas as to what type of Runners, are very welcome!  Thanks for reading my day!  Hope the weather was as good for you as it was for me!

It's been along time and I'm sorry.

Since I last posted on here my life has gotten more interesting!  I am part of the PTO events and I am a 4H Project Leader!  We have given two roosters away to a friend that needed roosters for their 32 hens to fertilize the eggs! Guess which too, Yep Mr. Guts and Mr. Houdini !  I for one am glad, they were pecking the hens featherless and fighting amongst each other.  Ezekiel has acquired a female Rabbit (Aspen is her name), and the family has the male (Floppsy) he is a Mini Lop and she is a Satin.  They are so adorable you could just kiss them and hug them but I don't dare kiss them, It was just a saying of how much I like them.  Our school had the Carnival themed Under The Big Top!  I was the Fortune Teller at the Wheel of Fortune.  It was a Blast!  Next Year we would like to do a mardigra  type carnival but named Carnival, as like New Orleans style. We had tragedy befall upon Sleeping beauty and now we only have 7 hens.  Robert my oldest son is doing Gardening for 4H and Bethlehem is doing Horse, while Ezekiel (you guest it) Rabbit; Ezekiel is a cloverbud this year though but they are having fun!
